Auction of Diffusers by Bel’Air Singapore to Raise Funds for the NKF Children Medical Fund

The Bel’Air Singapore branch office – Shiang Series Pte Ltd – held a grand opening ceremony on 31st August when it moved from Balmoral Plaza to Haw Par Technocentre. Bel’Air Global Chairman Mr. Huang Shu Li and more than 3000 Bel’Air distributors from 11 countries gathered in the Lion City to partake in this special event. During this occasion, the special auctions of 10 valuable and classic diffusers received enthusiastic response from our distributors. In all, we managed to raise S$47500 for the NKF Children Medical Fund.

Associates of the Bel’Air aromatherapy business do not lag behind others when it comes to doing their bit for charity. Miss Lee Xiang Ying, Managing Director of Shiang Series Pte Ltd as well as Bel’Air Regional CEO, Asia, fully acknowledged the efforts which the NKF Children Medical Fund has been putting in for poor and ill children. Such efforts were manifested via highly subsidised medical care. So, for these few years, she has been continuously sponsoring the NKF Children Medical Fund through different methods. The diffusers on auction on this day were valuable collectors' items belonging to Mr. Huang Shu Li. Propelled by the rallying call given by Miss Lee and the extra push given by renowned compere Mr. Jack Neo, the philanthropic spirit of our distributors soared to new heights as they made enthusiastic bids in acts of generosity. Within a short span of 30 minutes, all diffusers were auctioned out successfully. Shiang Series Pte Ltd even expressed its intention to continue helping the less fortunate and show reciprocation towards society, while engaging in business expansion.

Shiang Series Pte Ltd, established in 1998, is the Bel’Air Singapore branch office which manages administrative matters in Southeast Asia and Japan. Its aims are to enthusiastically propagate Bel’Air aromatherapy products which have been examined and verified by the medical field, bring the concepts of aromatherapy purification, aromatherapy healthcare and bio-tech aromatherapy into Singapore, as well as contribute towards society with our utmost efforts.

In 1999, Shiang Series Pte Ltd urged all distributors to do their contribution for charity as a collective whole. The result was S$105000 which we raised for NKF kidney dialysis patients and the additions of 3 kidney dialysis machines. From then on, we have been supporting NKF in its mission of saving lives every year, via methods such as generous donations, sponsorship of charity drives, etc. In order to encourage distributors to collectively render their help to poor and ill children, this year, Shiang Series Pte Ltd has specially produced 5 limited edition diffusers with animal images, for the purpose of adoption and donation. The first 1000 diffusers launched met with enthusiastic responses. The current plan is to launch another 1000 diffusers. Together, the 2000 diffusers with animal images are projected to raise S$200000 in funds for the NKF Children Medical Fund.
