Bel’Air’s stand on corporate responsibility and a humane business constitution stems from a principle of gratitude to “return to society what we have taken from it”. We are never absent from charity drives and community services. The organisations we have sponsored include Singapore National Kidney Foundation, Hong Kong Chen Kun Dong Care Centre, Fang Shu Quan Youth Centre, Taiwan 921 Earthquake Relief, Taipei Old Folks’ Foundation, Taipei Disaster Relief Association, Yi Lan Halfway Home, Save Taiwan Shangri-la Fund-Raising Activity, etc.
Diffuser of Love
Chairman Huang Shu Li specially designated Year 2001 as “The Year of Practising Charity and Caring”. He requested the company and all Bel’Air associates to fulfill in unison our corporate responsibility and play our part for charity, so as to show our reciprocation, care and compassion towards society. The Bel’Air “Diffuser of Love” is thus born. All proceeds raised from the Diffuser of Love were used to fund the Old Folk’s Foundation and the plans of various charity units. This is our contribution to the society and people. We hope to forge a better future together with Taiwan.
With Bel’Air, we see a young enterprise that has grown rapidly, yet has remembered its corporate mission to care for the community. From this, we have a deeper understanding of Chairman Huang Shu Li’s sense of mission and responsibility for society and for the self. To him, it is equally important for an enterprise to be profitable and repay to society that benefit. Besides being passionate about community service, Chairman Huang also displays on the diffuser his love and pursuit of all things beautiful. In this way, besides reaping the basic health benefits, the public can also get to enhance quality of life through Bel’Air products.
